Tis’ the season for the holiday festivities to begin! On Saturday, December 7th, Charlevloix merchants will be armed with entertainment, samples, snacks, refreshments, special sales, raffles and more during the Holiday Merchant Open House. Make sure you go into the season well prepared by taking advantage of this special event; it’s the perfect place for inspiration and acquisition of all your holiday needs. Whether you’re shopping for that must-have gift or those little, but necessary stocking stuffers, you can find it all downtown Charlevoix this holiday season. For the kids there will be a special movie showing and you won't want to miss the hot coco contest!

Charlevoix Cinema III will offer a showing of How to Train Your Dragon: Hidden World at 2pm. For entry, please bring a canned good to benefit the Charlevoix Food Pantry.
HOT COCOA CONTEST
Noon - 5:00pm - Downtown Businesses
Don't miss the 2019 Hot Cocoa Contest. Area restaurants invite you to sample and vote on your favorite hot cocoa. Cocoa stations will be set up at participating downtown stores and restaurants. Just look for the “Cocoa Trail” posters in the store-front windows to sample and vote for your favorite Hot Chocolate creation. Remember, you can vote for your favorite cocoa at any of the Cocoa Station locations!
The Merchant Open House is also a great opportunity to participate in the Gift Local shopping initiative where you can shop Charlevoix for a chance to win up to $500 in Downtown Dollars.
